Tackling ASB within Halifax town centre

Good Evening,

This evening, officers have been proactively addressing issues within the town centre. Action has been taken to tackle street drinking, helping to reduce associated anti-social behaviour and ensure the area remains welcoming for residents, businesses and visitors.

Officers have also dealt with reports of anti-social behaviour involving groups of youths, providing reassurance and taking appropriate action where necessary.

In addition, a wanted male has been located and arrested.
